  • We believe that all behavior is a form of communication. We also believe that determining what the behaviors mean often takes a team effort. We support each child’s need to express his or her feelings in socially appropriate ways. Because of this belief, we take the time to value each individual circumstance and work through the problems that arise with the children, modeling reflective listening, validation, redirection, and guidance. We know children are capable of coming to positive solutions to problems and with the strong parent partnership. We work with the parents to develop a plan to change behaviors that are undesirable and refer families to additional resources for support as needed.

  • Yes, but scholarships are limited. Some of our fundraising money is set aside to support our families which include teachers’ children. The financial support is reviewed on a case by case format and the amount of scholarships will depend on the annual income of the family.
